Call (717) 423-8257
Mon–Sat, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM · Urgent calls accepted at any hour. The service area is Lancaster, PA and on-lot communities throughout Lancaster County.
Have the street address and township ready. Add the last pumping date, tank size and compartments if known, lid or riser location, gate and lane conditions, township notice, alarm status, recent rain, and every affected fixture.
If wastewater is exposed
Stop optional water use. Keep children and animals away from sewage and wet soil. Do not enter a tank or handle an unsecured lid. A tank is a confined space with toxic gas and fall hazards. If the building is sewered, say so; a public lateral or grinder problem follows a different response path.
Recording and routing
Pennsylvania permits interception when all parties give prior consent under 18 Pa.C.S. § 5704(4). Calls may be recorded for service documentation and quality review. A notice plays before voicemail recording, and continuing after that notice indicates consent.
Lancaster Septic Pumping is a marketing and call-routing service. Requests are matched with independent providers. A company that pumps or transports residential septage must maintain a Pennsylvania DEP residential septage hauler registration under 25 Pa. Code § 285.225 and satisfy any separate municipal pumper registration or reporting rule. Confirm the provider, price, and written scope before authorizing work.
What the first call cannot promise
A dispatcher cannot diagnose hidden soil, authorize a municipal repair, certify a PSMA/NOF inspection, or guarantee a price before the tank, access, paperwork, and provider scope are known. The callback confirms availability and gives the parties a chance to agree on written terms.
